Cite Studio is a design forward architecture firm specializing in architectural design. We emphasize the client’s spatial experience, the procession through the spaces, the quality of light and view, and the sense of materials throughout the indoor or outdoor spaces. We design projects of all sizes, ranging from small residential projects to mid-sized commercial projects.

Cite Studio was started in New York City in 1986 by the husband-and-wife team of David Williams and Ann Wimsatt.
Throughout its history, their firm has consistently cultivated a culture of excellence in both design and client service. Their design practice uses a conceptual design approach, developing architecture that reflects the unique vision of each client while carefully considering the site and scope, as well as the cultural and community contexts.
With multiple projects underway across San Francisco city and the Peninsula, the pair enjoy the unique challenges of designing and building architecture in the Bay Area. Together, they have completed hundreds of projects all over the world — from New Zealand and Abu Dhabi to NYC and the Bay Area.
