A backyard expansion on the Missouri bluffs.
When the Missouri bluffs overlooking the Meramec River left homeowners with just twelve feet of backyard space, we helped make their vision of expansion a reality. To accommodate a new pool, fire pit, spa area, outdoor kitchen and play area, the site required physically relocating the boulder wall of the bluff. But it didn’t change the views — the pool’s outside wall crowns the bluff and allows the land to disappear off the edge. The rest of the expansion hosts clean and modern spaces that counter the rough and rugged bluffs.
