Cite Studios is a design-focused architecture firm based in San Francisco, led by partners David Williams and Ann Wimsatt. Both began their careers training with I.M. Pei & Partners in New York, where they developed their disciplined design thinking and modernist architecture approach.

Their architectural design work reflects a lifelong integration between cutting-edge design and integration of the natural landscape, a sensibility shaped by their love of backpacking into the High Sierras. The studio approaches each project with refinement and intentionality, curating spaces that respond to natural light, the Bay Area’s terrain, and thoughtfully chosen materials that enliven the space.

With extensive experience navigating California’s distinct building conditions and permitting processes, Cite Studios brings both technical clarity and design excellence to each collaboration.
