An inspired space to entertain.
When homeowners in Sunset Hills needed a space to entertain outdoors, we created sitting, dining and gathering spaces around a central, freestanding fireplace. With a large, deep lot, we leveraged the land at the rear of the outdoor space to hold in the design and created a “tump,” a gentle rolling of the land, which allowed us to use the bank as an end garden wall for the design. Around the existing pool, we minimized the paving and inserted planting to continue the garden feel surrounding the sculptural, Venetian-plastered fireplace.
